Current Opening We are currently seeking a Product Engineer Energy Storage to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy This position is in charge to support the products, in charge of the Energy Storage COE, during their life cycle. Responsibilities include: Transfer the lessons learned collected in the field to the engineering team. Work in conjunction with other teams to develop test cases to verify the products' features. Evaluate alternative components and solutions that can be adopted during the life of the products. Design and maintain energy storage systems utilized by the Uninterruptible Power Supply and by the power converters. Execute engineering tests, verify that the product meets the design requirements, and perform value engineering analysis to reduce the cost of the product. Support field engineers for special applications and assist with field issues. What kind of work will you be doing? Work with the Service team to coordinate activities and provide the necessary documentation to start the Change Order processes. Cooperate with other engineering functions during the definition of the product specification. Support the testing team for the definition of the test plan and review the test results. Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements such as drawings and component specifications. Work with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze the product cost. Analyze specific applications providing active support and service. What will make you successful? University degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Experience in equivalent areas (UPS, Power Converter, or low voltage electrical distribution) is a plus. Excellent planning and communication skills are required. Good knowledge of electrical power components. Good knowledge of the PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) and processes. Good team working attitude and communication. Customer oriented and availability to travel. Good English language knowledge.
