INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: SPORTS FASHION COMPLIANCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Within the testing and quality team, you will be responsible for understanding what specific requirements are needed for products to be compliant with regulatory standards globally. During product development, we enable product creation and marketing teams to create and test products to required compliance standards globally. During production and shipping, we support customs and sales teams to ensure they have the right documentation for import and retail partners. During product retail and use phases, we support legal teams with technical advice on any cases of non-compliance. With team members sitting in Germany, USA, and China, we offer you the opportunity to join our diverse team of experts with a range of knowledge and experience in product quality and compliance.

1. Support execution of cross-functional global projects within our organization
2. Project management tasks such as leading individual work streams/packages
3. Support analysis and presentations to define project direction
4. Support development of processes, structures, and frameworks that support the implementation of smart solutions to improve the status quo

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A MATCH

1. Student of Chemical Engineering, Textile Technology, Clothing Technology, Footwear Engineering, Sports Science, or similar
2. Fluent English language skills (written & spoken), ideally with German language skills
3. Strong MS Office skills
4. High sports affinity and passion for products, ideally with a textile or chemical background
5. Good project management, interpersonal, and communication skills with interest/ability to understand the bigger picture
6. Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines

ELIGIBILITY

1. Enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
2. Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
3. Candidates in their penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have a maximum of one year to graduate)
4. Availability for the full duration of the internship from September 2024 – March 2025
5. Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
