Position: Pipe Layer
Location: Basingstoke
Project: Industrial Project
Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm
Duration: 16 Weeks
Pay Rate: £230.00 Per Day
Foundation Personnel is seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join a drainage gang on an industrial units project in Basingstoke. This role involves working with drainage up to 2.5m deep, requiring precision and attention to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of drainage pipes to specified depths and grades (up to 2.5m)
Preparing and leveling trenches for proper pipe installation
Laying pipes, ensuring correct alignment and seal to prevent leaks
Assisting with backfilling and compacting soil around installed pipes
Regularly inspecting pipe installations to maintain quality standards
Adhering to health and safety regulations, particularly with confined spaces
Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card
Confined Spaces Certification
Proven experience in pipe laying within civil construction or similar projects
