Commercial Administrator

Flannery Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an ambitious and detail orientated administrator to join our commercial team.

Data Management and Reporting

* Create and compile data sets for weekly and monthly internal audit reports, ensuring that information is accurate and delivered on time.

* Maintain various data sets to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting, employing best practices for data management.

* Regularly review data sets for errors and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure consistency and accuracy in reports.

Audit Compliance

* Work closely with other teams to ensure audit compliance, including chasing teams for updates and tracking responses to close audit gaps.

* Assist in the development of internal controls and procedures to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement

* Identify opportunities for improving reporting and data management processes.

* Implement enhancements and automation to increase the efficiency and accuracy of reporting workflows.

Administrative Support

* Carry out administrative processes with a high standard of excellence and attention to detail.

* Support customer consolidated invoicing, reporting, and handling invoice queries as requested, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Cross-Functional Assistance

* Assist the wider business with ad-hoc admin requests, providing flexible support to various departments as needed.

* Facilitate smooth interdepartmental communication and coordination, assisting with documentation and task tracking.

Educational Background

- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A-C, preferably including English and Math.

Technical Skills:

* Proficient with computer and IT skills, including keyboard and data input, as well as basic use of Word, Excel, email, and the internet.

* Intermediate Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Simple Macros, and other data analysis functions.

* Familiarity with various software systems used in data management, reporting, and administration.

* Clean driving license required.

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and other departments.

* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in data management and reporting.

* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

* A proactive and resourceful approach to work, with the ability to anticipate needs and address issues before they escalate.

* A strong customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
