About the Client
Our client, a leading company in the ground engineering and structural refurbishment company and one of the first contractors to start constructing modern basements.
About the Role
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
Support the senior surveyors in managing costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct on-site measurements and evaluations, working closely with project managers and contractors.
Assist in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
Help manage project variations and provide accurate cost forecasts.
Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures.
Assist in the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Prepare reports on project progress, cost analysis, and contract performance.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.About the Candidate
Some experience or internship in quantity surveying or a related role is desirable.
Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Basic knowledge of construction methods and contract administration.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and construction software (e.g., Bluebeam or similar).Points of Appeal
