About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, long-term role with an immediate start, providing the opportunity to inspire young learners and help shape their educational journey during these critical early years. You will be working with a class of eager, well-behaved students who are excited to learn, supported by experienced teaching assistants to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the ongoing development of the school’s strong academic and pastoral ethos.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting.
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage KS1 students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to participate and succeed.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and senior staff.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to ensure differentiated learning opportunities.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting the school’s values of respect and inclusion.
