Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, supporting children with challenging behaviours and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Support students with ASD and other additional needs, using strategies to help them engage positively with their learning.
Implement behaviour support plans and personalised strategies, working alongside teachers and SEN staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
Act as a positive role model, promoting social skills, resilience, and self-regulation to help pupils manage their behaviours and succeed in school.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and classroom teachers, adapting approaches to meet individual needs effectively.What We're Looking For in a Behaviour Mentor:
