Psychology Graduate Opportunity – Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £400 - £450 per week
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Full-time
Start Date: September

The Role:
We are currently seeking passionate Psychology Graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants within a specialised SEN school in Birmingham. This school supports children and young adults with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and various learning difficulties. You will have the chance to directly impact the lives of these individuals, helping them develop key skills towards independence in a purpose-built, inclusive environment with strong community ties.

Graduates with degrees in psychology and related fields are highly sought after. We also encourage applications from those with similar academic backgrounds such as:
Criminology
Sports Science
Sports Coaching
Social Work
Educational Studies
Youth and Community Studies
As an Education Support Worker, you will work within classrooms, supporting students both 1:1 and in small groups. You’ll engage with students across all age groups and key stages, from Early Years to Post-16, ensuring that learning is both fun and accessible. This experience will not only develop your skills but open doors to careers in educational psychology, counselling, clinical psychology, or teaching.
