Tate are working with a leading asbestos and water hygiene company in their search for a Business Development Assistant.
Your role would be to identify, develop and secure new and existing business opportunities. As a Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the growth of the business by identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients
Adding organisations and individuals to CRM systems
Categorising people/organisations on CRM systems
Establishing processes to follow-up leads
Running reports on CRM systems
Running campaigns on CRM systems and manage these campaigns
Analysing the success of specific campaigns and feedback to senior managementSkills / experience:
Knowledge/experience of CRM systems (ideally Workbooks)
Confident in prospecting for new potential clients using all resources available
Extensive experience successfully engaging with people in a professional capacity on social media.
Confident and experienced engaging with prospects on the phone particularly during cold call situations
Able to liaise with other members of the team to strategically plan new campaigns
Confident using all Microsoft systems, especially Excel
Able to analyse data and learn from/adapt techniques depending on the trends shown
Excellent communication and persuasion skills - both written and verbal
