About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join this wonderful school starting January 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role where you’ll play a key part in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 1 and 2. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff, and a passion for education. You’ll deliver planned lessons, assist with interventions, and provide tailored support to ensure every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.
Application Requirements:
• A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted intervention sessions to support pupils’ individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN, ensuring inclusivity.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment.
