Job Description
We're looking for a Mechanical Technician to join a small maintenance team on a top tier COMAH site!

What you'll do
• Perform planned maintenance activities and defect rectification.
• Report site defects immediately to the Terminal Engineer.
• Complete weekly/monthly maintenance paperwork on time with the Terminal Engineer.
• Prepare work areas for complex maintenance of depot systems or components.
• Use diagnostic techniques to identify faults in depot systems and components.
• Understand technical drawings, including P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangements.
• Have a good understanding of Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Permits to Work. You will need to review work and produce RAMS for safe task execution.
Where you'll do it
Mainly working outdoors with some manual handling and occasional confined space work, travel to other sites or for training may be necessary.
What you'll need
• Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Familiarity with tanks, pumps, valves, pipework, oil separators, compressors, and/or piping systems.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
