About the role:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the school’s dynamic team. The role will involve supporting teaching staff across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to deliver engaging lessons and ensure each child reaches their full potential. You will be working closely with teachers to provide individual and small group support, managing classroom behaviour, and assisting with assessments. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop professionally, taking on additional responsibilities as part of an expanding school community.
Application Requirements:
• HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a teaching assistant, ideally in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to support students with varying needs, including those with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects.
• Providing tailored support to small groups and individual students, focusing on their unique learning needs.
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
• Helping assess student progress and providing feedback.
• Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapting learning materials as needed.
