Project Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting a Project Engineer who will coordinate all technical activities on assigned projects, including the preparation of proposals, project schedules and co-ordination of all of the agreed engineering work.

You will ensure that all work is conducted in full compliance with all applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and in full compliance with our client's standards and values.

Responsibilities

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.

Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.

Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.

Participating in/managing client/Contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and project management issues.

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

Verification and checks of all the project deliverables.

Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.

Preparation of the project status reports.

Qualifications

HND or Degree Level Engineering

Experience of CAD/Autodesk Inventor

Proficient with Microsoft office pack

Proven abilities to work collaboratively with others

Excellent communication and management skills

Pease note the successful candidate would be required to be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

This role would suit a graduate who has some industry experience.
