You will collaborate closely with a dedicated SENCO and a highly supportive Head Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone committed to making an impact and keen to specialise in Special Educational Needs. As an HLTA in this inclusive school, you’ll take on a meaningful role supporting Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils with a range of needs. Your work will involve one-on-one and group support, assisting with bespoke interventions, and adapting lessons to ensure all children thrive. You’ll play a key part in working with teaching staff to create an engaging learning environment. This position also offers you the chance to be actively involved in lesson planning, classroom management, and mentoring students – a rewarding role for an HLTA who wants to grow their expertise.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA qualification (essential).
• Proven experience working with SEN students.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Confidence in supporting teaching and adapting resources for SEN students.
• Passion for inclusive education and commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head Teacher and SENCO in delivering engaging, tailored learning experiences.
• Managing small groups and individual sessions, adapting lessons to meet students' needs.
• Assisting with planning and preparation of educational materials for SEN students.
• Collaborating with teachers to implement individual learning plans.
• Fostering a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
