Colleague Benefits Consultant
Job Location

Job Description
Colleague Benefits Consultant- Salary circa £50,000
We have an exciting opportunity in our Group Reward Team. As a Colleague Benefits Consultant you'll specialise in pensions and all types of colleague benefits and will be a trusted source of support to the People Function, business leaders and colleagues. If you have experience working in reward/benefits and would like to join a team that makes a difference for all colleagues, we'd love to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
You'll use your broad understanding of reward and your technical knowledge of pensions, colleague benefits and wellbeing to provide expert guidance and support. You'll be responsible for managing efficient processes across the full range of benefits available to UK colleagues (including UK & Ireland wellbeing). You'll identify opportunities and own updates to internal processes and with our suppliers. You'll also proactively collaborate with colleagues in Ireland and Canada to share best practice and build One Aviva solutions where possible.
Communicating complex information clearly will be essential for benefit design proposals, contributing to engaging colleague communications and working daily with benefit providers.
You'll support the Colleague Health & Wellbeing Manager and Colleague Pensions & Benefits Manager who will rely on you to make sure our colleague value proposition remains competitive and continues to meet our colleagues' diverse needs. You'll engage with a range of stakeholders including Heads of People and business leaders, and be accountable for regular, clear updates. The role requires strong relationship management skills, attention to detail and innovative thinking.
You'll work to continually improve the colleague experience of our overall benefits proposition, including query management. The role requires collaboration with a network of internal and external teams (for example - payroll, tax, procurement, legal, communications, benefit suppliers and more). You'll resolve issues, in a risk considered way.
You'll need to be competent at collating, reviewing and interpreting data from varied sources. Based on your insights, you'll put forward ideas for change and deliver projects across different systems. You'll keep focus on maximising spend and value for our colleagues and Aviva.
All of this means it's vital for you to keep your knowledge of UK employee benefits up to date (including employment laws, regulatory changes, and industry trends). You'll make sure our benefit proposition is compliant and competitive by considering risk and always acting with integrity.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
What you'll get for this role:
Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
