We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operational Risk Expert to join our tenacious team. This is a great job for someone to provide technical advice and support, problem solving and collaborative working to support our Aviva Private Clients team.
This role is homebased, with regular travel throughout the UK and occasional European travel to clients.
A bit about the job:
This role is key to our business as it's a client facing role supporting Aviva Private Clients by undertaking site-based inspections primarily within the UK but also with occasional travel within Europe. Providing risk mitigation advice and guidance on the adequacy of sums insured for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individual policy holders and the production of technical high-quality reports for internal and external use. Additionally, you will support all functions within Aviva Private Clients with technical referrals, sales support and internal training .
This role is primarily to meet demand in London and the South East of England which will probably account for 70% of the workload so preferably you will be based in the South East.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Previous experience of risk management in residential properties and private estates
- Good awareness of current fire, security and risk mitigation measures applicable within this sector
- Ability to strategically analyse complex information to draw out relevant facts
- Experience of calculating accurate reinstatement cost both desk and site based assessments for complex , listed and heritage properties.
- Good administrative and time management skills, able to organise workload and diaries to achieve objectives
