Job Description
Educated Appointments is delighted to be working with an Essex based apprenticeship provier who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skills Coach to join their Apprenticeship delivery team. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional expertise in delivering Business Administrator, Team Leader Supervisor Level 3 and Customer Service Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship standards. As a skills coach, you will have a variety of responsibilities. These will include overseeing a caseload of up to 40 apprenticeship learners and ensuring they produce evidence of their knowledge, skills, and behaviors in line with the apprenticeship standard.
You will need to be able to manage your diary efficiently, ensure timely visits, and achieve seeing ALL allocated learners within the agreed timescale and in line with ESFA guidelines. You will also be required to move learners through gateway and support them with mock EPA, provide one-on-one or group teaching and learning sessions covering core knowledge, support the learners and employers in producing an OTJ plan, and overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet the learners' needs.
You must possess appropriate occupational competency in Team Leading (Management), Business Administration and Customer Service, organizational skills, and be confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. In addition, you should be IT literate, have knowledge of Microsoft packages, online/digital learning, and webinar-based technologies. Knowledge of working with Highfield is preferred but not essential.
To be considered for the role, you must be a qualified Assessor with recognized Assessor awards, such as D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA, and possess either a PTTLS/CTTLS or AET/CET or higher certificate. Additionally, you must have experience in delivering full Apprenticeship Standard and Functional Skills, meeting Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork, general administration and attend and contribute towards standardization meetings.
In return for your hard work, the client offer competitive remuneration, including uncapped bonus opportunities, 23 days of holiday + bank holidays and company mileage paid. Furthermore, all resources required for the role, including a Laptop, iPhone, etc., will be issued, and fun social activities are run throughout the year. The successful candidate must have a Full Driving License and be willing to travel within the Essex, London and Kent regions
