Residential Children’s Home Deputy Manager
We are seeking a Children’s Home Deputy Manager to work with a forward-thinking non-profit organisation that’s delivered unique support for young people across East Anglia for over fifty years.
Position: Residential Children’s Home Deputy Manager
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Job type: Permanent / Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £30,678 - £32,230, depending on skills and experience
Closing Date: Friday 6th December 2024
About the Role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager who can demonstrate effective leadership and people management skills at all times whilst prioritising the care of young people and developing these crucial relationships.
The organisation has a range of residential services, a fostering agency, Staying Close, Staying Connected and services for disabled children and their families. As a trauma-informed organisation, all young people and employees are supported by a highly skilled therapeutic team - and their lifelong offer means that even when young people leave care, they will always be there for them.
Key skills needed include:
NVQ Qualified (Minimum Level 3) in a social care related subject
The ability to inspire and motivate your team and young people within the service
Promote a culture of high standards and excellent performance
A caring, compassionate and resilient nature
