Job Description

Galileo is looking for a Business Development Analyst to join our fast-growing team and to support the coordination and delivery of various workstreams related to the development of Wind, Solar and Battery projects in Italy. This person will be based in Milan, reporting to the Business Development Director. What you'll do: Support the Business Development Team to advance the permitting process of the current pipeline by managing project documentation and all administrative steps; Support the interaction with external stakeholders, e.g. with public administrations, landowners, or with the Transmission or Distribution System Operators; Carry out research and analysis into new and existing markets and competitors, also by supporting the analysis of new development opportunities; Support in the preparation of internal decision materials; Maintain and extend your professional qualifications and skillset as needed to adapt to our expanding business focus and needs. Requirements What you'll need: Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Law, Business, Political Science or comparable qualification; Previous professional experience (e.g. internships) in the planning and development of photovoltaic, wind energy or battery storage projects or spatial and environmental planning will be considered a plus; Native or fluent Italian and good English are mandatory, another European language (e.g. German) will be considered a plus; Independent and detail-oriented working style aimed at providing solutions to problems; Aptitude for team working and project management.
