Salary: £42K-£50K per annum
Role Overview
Are you a skilled plumber with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation? We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Teacher to deliver and develop high-quality training and assessment for students. You will lead both full-time and part-time groups, playing an instrumental role in shaping their learner journey.
You do not need to be a qualified teacher, we will consider applications from industry professionals for this post.
This is a long term temporary post, however we can also consider permanent candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Assessment: Conduct lessons, practical demonstrations, and assessments aligned with college quality standards.
Student Support: Monitor progress, counsel students as needed, and promote punctuality and engagement.
Curriculum Development: Actively contribute to curriculum planning and adaptation to meet industry demands.
Team Collaboration: Engage in recruitment activities, support open days, and participate in team meetings.
Compliance & Safety: Uphold health and safety standards, complete risk assessments, and ensure accurate administrative record-keeping.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Level 3 or higher in Plumbing
Industry experience
GCSEs (Grade C/4 or equivalent) in Maths and English
Commitment to student safeguarding and welfare
Desirable Qualifications
Previous teaching experience
Proficiency in diverse communication platforms
