Based in the scenic Cheshire countryside, the company prides itself on its collaborative and supportive culture, combining a relaxed workspace with a commitment to employee development and career progression.
This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Energy Assessor to make a tangible impact in residential and commercial sustainability projects, working with a diverse client base that includes national developers, contractors, and regional housebuilders. The company is open to considering recent graduates with a relevant degree in the built environment and a strong passion for energy and sustainability.
Role Summary
As an Energy Assessor, you’ll be instrumental in the delivery of building compliance and sustainability assessment services. Your core responsibilities will include:

Offering technical support to clients and delivering accurate, timely reports that align with regulatory standards.
Working on both planning and technical reporting for diverse sustainability projects.

Advising clients on compliance strategies and methodologies to meet building regulations and sustainability goals.
Managing client relationships and identifying service opportunities.
About You

A strong desire to learn building energy modelling software such as Design SAP, Design Builder, or IES.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
Relevant experience or keen interest in energy consulting within the built environment sector.
While a professional qualification (e.g., IEMA, CIBSE, LCC) is advantageous, the company is committed to supporting continuous learning, offering opportunities to develop expertise across a wide array of sustainability and compliance areas.
Key Benefits
Hybrid Working Model: Three days in-office and flexibility around core hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
Learning and Development: Comprehensive support for professional accreditations and skills development, alongside a structured career path.
