About the role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis, starting January 2025. In this role, you will work closely with the Key Stage 1 team to deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for learning in our young students. As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll play a key role in shaping foundational skills across core subjects, using creative and interactive approaches that align with the National Curriculum. You’ll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas into the classroom, supported by a strong and collaborative team.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience in KS1 or a similar primary teaching role.
• A commitment to differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• An understanding of child development and enthusiasm for fostering student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to KS1 students.
• Assess, track, and support pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and the wider school community to maintain high standards.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing updates on student development and achievements.
