About the role: Reception Teacher: As a Reception Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s youngest learners, introducing them to the joys of learning in a positive and welcoming atmosphere. You’ll deliver a well-designed curriculum that needs little additional planning, allowing you to focus on inspiring and engaging children. Creating a safe and positive classroom where children feel valued, safe, and ready to learn is at the heart of this role.

Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Early Years or Reception.
• Proven ability to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
• Effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to the needs of each child.
• Encourage a love of learning by fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider school community.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and TAs to ensure consistency and high standards.
• Support children’s social and emotional development, providing guidance to help them thrive.
