A welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Wokingham is looking for an Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. Whether you have previous experience working with children-through roles like tutoring, coaching, or mentoring-or are eager to start a career in education, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
This fulfilling position involves working with students who face challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Your role will be to offer encouragement, provide individualized support, and help students thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
As an Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant, you will:
Offer tailored support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Promote positive behaviours and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers to create engaging, accessible lessons.
Help students develop confidence, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills.
Contribute to a warm, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.Why This Role?

Position Details
Role: Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant

Pay Rate: £83 - £95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Long-term, with the possibility of a permanent position
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
