Location: Bath
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Centre Shift Technician to join our Data Centre Solutions team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing key building systems in a fast-paced data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct maintenance and inspections across building electrical installations, including panels, equipment, and circuits.
* Service and maintain emergency lighting, lighting control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
* Oversee and ensure functionality of fire suppression and detection systems.
* Maintain air conditioning systems, including VAVs, FCUs, and split systems.
* Handle and troubleshoot issues related to AHUs, variable speed drives, heating systems, generators, and controls.
* Work with single and three-phase motors, UPS systems, and associated control systems.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience in a critical environment and a background in Building Services is required.
* Certifications: C&G qualification or equivalent in electrical services/maintenance; 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
* HV Approved Person certified.
* Confined space entry training (where required).
* Recognised training or apprenticeship in a related field.
