Overview and Job Purpose:

To drive the strategic and operational management of the central marketing team: Recruitment Marketing, Creative, Digital, and Market Research ensuring delivery of the brand positioning, brand values, and AHZ|UK University Representative’s strategy to grow our market shares. Reporting to: CEO, CCO and COO.


Responsible for: Marketing, Creative and Digital Teams, and Technological advancements with the needs of the Company.

Main Duty:

· Delivering the brand positioning on all materials produced, including brand alignment corporate strategies including new brand identity on physical and digital channels

· Responsible for delivery of the 2 years marketing plan in line with Company’s strategy

· Establishing and managing annual marketing budgeting, phasing and process. Ensuring monthly cost centre reports, quarterly forecast and budget planning for team.

· Creating omni-channel annual recruitment marketing plans for UG/PG and niche recruitment channels including apprenticeships, online and accelerated degrees embedding digital, as well as traditional marketing channels to secure annual student numbers targets as per the company’s Plan. A close working relationship with Student Recruitment channels of AHZ that includes regions, branches to ensure and facilitate the yearly recruitment target met.

· Responsible for delivering an efficient and proactive relationship with all regions and Services to enable local delivery of the company’s marketing plans.

· Develop the marketing strategies, plan, prepare and execute through the marketing team to ensure that company’s achievements plan is aligned.

· Overseeing the Digital communication plans to ensure AHZ leads a digital first approach to marketing where necessary and to embed the skills across the team.

· Overseeing the Creative resource: creating online portal; brand templates toolkit and finding and managing external suppliers as well as overseeing major production (e.g. video, photography – image library)

· Responsible for the management of departmental budgets and staffing to ensure transparency and accountability.

· Providing relevant marketing insight, including customer behavioural insight and competitor activity to enable effective portfolio development, brand development, entry criteria, pricing strategy and benchmarking to improve student recruitment and reputation. A close working relationship with Corporate Information will be required.

· Managing senior relationships with media and creative agencies and scrutinising effectiveness and impact of all work.

· Establishing a standardised framework of briefing, campaign management and analysis.

· To undertake any other reasonable duties as determined by the C suite and Directors.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth.
  1. Brand Management:
  • Manage and enhance the brand image of AHZ, UK University Representatives in the higher education consulting sector.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and marketing materials.
  1. Digital Marketing:
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and content marketing.
  • Analyse data and metrics to optimise digital marketing performance and enhance online presence.
  1. Traditional Marketing:
  • Plan and execute traditional marketing campaigns, including print materials, events, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a consistent message across all marketing channels.
  1. Content Development:
  • Lead the creation of compelling and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media.
  • Ensure the content aligns with the company's values and resonates with the target audience.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the recruitment team globally to align marketing efforts with student recruitment goals.
  • Collaborate with external partners, universities, and institutions to enhance mutual marketing initiatives.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment within the marketing department.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Stay abreast of trends and changes in the higher education and consulting sectors.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.

10. Managing the team:

o As a head of marketing you will be interacting, managing, training and developing the team as per the Company’s Goals.

o SEO, PPC, Content, Creative and technology departments need to report to head of marketing to ensure that the digital platform of AHZ is align with company’s future vishion.

  1. Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing performance and ROI.
  • Utilise data insights to make informed recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the higher education or consulting sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful marketing campaign management.
  • Ability to analyse data and use insights for decision-making.
  • Team management experience with a focus on collaboration and mentorship.
