About the role: HLTA: Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to take on a dynamic role in a vibrant school environment? This exciting full-time position begins in January 2025 and offers the opportunity to work closely with both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, providing essential support to enhance their learning experiences. As an HLTA, you’ll have a pivotal role in engaging young learners and assisting teachers in delivering an inspiring curriculum.

Application Requirements:
• Recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working with Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 students in a UK primary school setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A genuine passion for supporting young learners’ growth and development.
• DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo checks).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support classroom teachers by planning and delivering engaging lessons to small groups and individual students.
• Manage class activities in teachers’ absence and ensure a smooth, productive learning environment.
• Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, including one-on-one interventions and tailored lesson adjustments.
• Assist in evaluating students’ progress and contribute to planning next steps in their learning journey.
• Act as a positive role model, fostering confidence, enthusiasm, and a love of learning in students.
