Anomalous Space is an independent friendly neighbourhood work space, studio and event venue based in a Georgian Townhouse just outside central London www.anomalous.co.uk/space
Our six unique and homely spaces encourage creativity, promote freedom of expression and foster positive change, enabling both physical and emotional connection for a diverse selection of private and work based activities - including meetings, presentations, workshops, focus groups, photoshoots, film/video productions, screenings, pop-up events, social gatherings, wellness sessions and much more.
We work with corporate brands and institutions to maintain financial stability, which in turn helps us provide opportunities and support for freelance creatives, charities, under represented communities and independent small businesses that need space for project incubation and change making development. This is where we pride ourselves and are looking for others to help us build on this developing vision.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, self-starting Venue Manager to oversee and manage client relations, bookings, day-to-day operations, third party venue listings, suppliers and staff rotas. This role also offers the opportunity to make an impact on both the operational and strategic development of our growing business - so we’re looking for someone who will take advantage of this opportunity and uniquely autonomous position. The Details
The Venue Manager role is a 24-32hr per week (within 09:00-17:00 / Mon-Fri) flexible/hybrid/remote position - depending on candidates experience, location and requirements. This role would be ideal for someone with an existing freelance or part time remote position looking to compliment or add to their portfolio of skills.
One / Two weeks (flexible) on-site training with our current Manager as an introduction to the venue and existing procedures required.
Salary:
£22-30K (pro rata) per annum
We will interviewing ASAP with the aim of an early January 2025 job start.
