Pay £12.61 to £13.36 per hour (£24,664 to £26,123 per annum)and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Additional payments for sleep in £50 and on call £14.30 for each 8-hour session

Typical day as a Support Coordinator
- Starting the day with a cuppa and handover with colleagues, catching up on any changes since you were last on shift and the tasks/ support planned for the day ahead.
- You will be supporting customers with their identified support needs such as helping with some cleaning, paying some bills, accompanying to a community activity or an appointment or you could be supporting customers to learn and regain skills with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation when they are able.
- You might be arranging an inhouse cooking group, BBQ or an activity in the community such as a trip to Felixstowe for Fish and Chips.
- You might have a linkwork session booked with a customer to review their support plans/ risk assessments or checking in with them to make sure everything is going to plan.
- Supporting customers with severe and enduring mental health, who may also have a substance misuse issue, a mild learning disability/ autism.
- Supporting customers at times of crisis, adapting how we work to support customers in their recovery.
- You might be taking the lead with a new referral and preparing paperwork along with arranging visits and assessments.
- You might be supporting a customer to view options for move on and supporting them to have assessments and make arrangements to move on to their next home

You bring
- Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail.
- Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans.
- Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals
- Experience of working in a supported housing/ mental health/ substance misuse/ learning disability/ autism background
- The ability to workon your own initiative, remaincalm under pressure and havea resilient approach
- To get from A to B, when working in services and for on call purposes, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Youll join Kathy ourManager ofthe Ipswich Eastteam. Kathy has worked for Home Group for 12 years and has a huge 21 years experience in the sector. Outside of work Kathy enjoys swimming, and has two dogs, two cats and two children to keep her busy! Our team are super passionate about what we do and are a close knit, supportive bunch, and theyre looking forward to meeting their new colleague!
Job details
- Where were flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
- There is a rolling rota, working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are typically 9am-5/6pm, 2pm-11pm sleep in 7am-3/4pm.
- Although youll spend some time lone working, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
- Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
