Join our dedicated Early Years team as a part-time Nursery Nurse in Barking & Dagenham! This is an opportunity to work hands-on with an enthusiastic and curious group of young learners, contributing to their development and inspiring a love of learning from day one. You’ll play a key role in guiding each child’s social, emotional, and educational growth through activities and play-based learning. From arts and crafts to outdoor exploration, your creativity and care will make every day exciting and full of discovery for the children in your care.

Application Requirements:
• Qualification in Early Years or equivalent (Level 3 or higher).
• Experience with Early Years/Primary School children, particularly within the nursery setting.
• Clear Enhanced DBS Check.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work well with staff and families.
• Passion for early childhood development and a creative, caring approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and Inspire: Lead age-appropriate activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive development.
• Create a Nurturing Environment: Provide a safe, supportive space where every child feels valued and confident to explore and learn.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other staff to provide a cohesive learning experience.
• Support Individual Development: Monitor and document each child’s progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for support.
• Communicate with Families: Build positive relationships with families to create a supportive home-school connection.
