Mechanical Fitter (Argyle & Bute) Excellent hourly rate

A1 Jobs are recruiting for x 6 Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a 6-month project
Roles and responsibilities
· Day to day investigation and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of facilities.
· Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of mechanical systems.
· Defect identification and repair.
· Typical systems worked on will include, heating, ventilation, generators, and compressors as well as pressure systems and other mechanical equipment and plant
Essential requirements
· Proven experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance gained within an industrial or commercial environment.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
· Works in a safe manner - able to understand statements of work, risk assessments, etc
· Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion
Qualifications
Recognised mechanical apprenticeship
Qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City and Guilds, HNC etc)
Hours of work
36 hours per week Monday – Friday, overtime is available.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
