My Client, a thriving Datacente in London, is looking to recruit a Digital Portfolio Lead. In a fast-paced digital landscape, the Digital Portfolio Lead emerges as a dynamic force, responsible for curating and elevating content that empowers decision-makers in the data centre industry. This role demands a strategic thinker with a commercial flair, capable of becoming the face of a diverse portfolio that spans video, online publications, and eBooks. The Lead will take charge of crafting bespoke content and managing broadcasts aimed at a global audience, ensuring each presentation is a blend of compelling storytelling and cutting-edge insights.
Responsibilities
Channel Management
The Digital Portfolio Lead will be the visionary behind world-class content, tirelessly curating materials that resonate across all digital platforms. This includes fostering an engaged community through impactful content and innovative social media strategies.
Research and Programme Development
At the heart of the role lies a commitment to primary research. The Lead will develop high-quality agendas based on in-depth market insights, ensuring broadcasts are rich with thought leadership and best practices. By conducting interviews and analyzing industry trends, they will shape compelling narratives that drive lead generation and sponsor engagement.
Speaker Acquisition and Management
A key part of the role involves identifying and recruiting top-tier industry experts. The Lead will cultivate a robust network of contacts, transforming into a voice for their sector. By collaborating closely with sponsors, they'll ensure the delivery of thought-provoking content that meets audience needs.
Deadline Management
With a focus on excellence, the Digital Portfolio Lead will consistently produce broadcasts to market-leading standards, meeting all KPIs within stipulated timelines.
Social Marketing
They will also spearhead social media campaigns, creating engaging content to boost visibility. This includes producing episode previews and conducting interviews to drive subscriptions and audience engagement.
Broadcast Stream Management
From creating episodes to running live streams, the Lead will ensure seamless production. They will meticulously prepare all materials, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a polished final product.
Moderation of Sessions
As the face of the channel, they will moderate virtual presentations and live panels, crafting insightful questions that enhance the audience experience. Their role will bridge digital and in-person events, ensuring relevance across diverse geographical audiences.
Team Support
Collaboration is key; the Digital Portfolio Lead will work closely with sponsorship sales, marketing, and operations teams to maximize channel quality and profitability. Regular catch-ups with editorial and marketing teams will keep content fresh and relevant.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will hold a university degree (2:1 or above) and possess over two years of experience in conference or content production. A digital-first mindset is essential, along with a passion for understanding the tech sector and its evolution. Experience in EMEA, NAM, and APAC markets is a plus, as is a track record of successful content management and social media campaign contributions.
