Job Description
Job Responsibilities/Tasks:
* Build and install frameworks, partitions, and other wooden structures.
* Accurately measure and mark materials for cutting, shaping, and assembly.
* Assemble materials to form structures such as walls, roofs, and frameworks.
* Repair and replace damaged wooden structures such as window frames, doors, and cabinets.
* Operate hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively.
* Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and masks.
* Work closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians, plumbers, and masons, to complete projects.
* Completion of a formal apprenticeship in carpentry or a related field preferred.
* Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related role.
* Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and safety regulations.
* Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* This role is suited for a highly skilled individual with expertise in woodworking and a passion for construction projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
