CNC Turner/Machinist
MAA Recruitment are looking for a CNC Turner/Machinist in and around the Cumbernauld area to join an exiting company and the ability to invest. This is a permanent role to add to their team machining valves and gauge components.
Role:Setting and operating CNC Horizontal lathes (Mazak Quick Turn 2000MB and Mazak Super Quick Turn 10MWorking various CNC machinesMachining valve and gauge components.Controlling and editing Mazatrol programsTraining will be given on the Mazatrol SmoothG programmingWorking with stainless steel and exotic materials such as Hastelloy C276, Duplex and Incoloy
Skills:Time Served CNC Turner/Machinist with City & Guilds/Modern Apprenticeship Level 3Mazatrol Editing and setting experienceAble to read and understand engineering drawings
Hours:36 basic hours per weekRotating Shift Pattern: - 2 weeks early and 2 weeks backshiftEarly Shift - Mon-Thurs 6am-2.15pm, Fri 6am-11.10amBack Shift - Mon-Thurs 2.15pm-11.45pm (FRIDAY OFF)
Money:From £16.50-£16.70/hr for basic hourswith 20% shift allowance £19.80/Hr -£20.04/hrShift allowance is paid on both shiftsOvertime is time plus half during week and SaturdaysOvertime is double time for Sundays
