Partnerships Product Owner

Salary: National circa £55,000 / London circa £65,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to join the Personal Lines Partnerships team to support the delivery of an exciting new operating model.

We are looking for someone passionate about working with Partners; inquisitive, numerate and proactive to help us define and deliver for the UK General Insurance Partnerships business. This is a great opportunity to drive change to make a real difference to performance and outcomes for our customers, with lots of stakeholder engagement and management both internally and externally. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where every day will be different, and you'll working as part of a Product Owner team within a large transformation programme.

You will be supporting the design and delivery of new solutions to drive great outcomes for our customers, alongside commercial outcomes for Aviva and our partners. This role works across Operations, Product, Distribution, Pricing, Underwriting, IT and Change to drive the end-to-end delivery of defined outcomes by fulfilling the role of Product Owner.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and own projects across Partner, acting as Product Owner, working with key business stakeholders to define the strategy and uphold good customer outcomes
  • Present options, insight and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders to gain agreement to proceed with new projects/ key deliverables within a project
  • Work with relevant business areas internally and externally to clarify requirements and ensure a successful delivery
  • Develop, demonstrate and maintain a detailed understanding of the Partnership distribution landscape, including any changes in market conditions
  • Understand risks, the strength of controls, customer outcomes and the quality of everyday decisions, in line with Aviva Values & relevant regulations such as consumer duty

Skills & Experience required
  • Agile project delivery experience - ideally as a Product Owner or business change lead
  • Experience of proposition/ product development or driving great customer outcomes
  • Strong communication skills & stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Innovative thinker with an awareness of commercial impacts
  • Confidence in constructively challenging to get to the best outcome

  • Starting salary - National based circa £55,000, London based circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
