Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive 3-form entry primary school in Enfield. As a TA, you will support the class teacher and work closely with students, helping those who need extra academic support as well as assisting children with special educational needs (SEN). You’ll be pivotal in ensuring every child feels valued and has the opportunity to thrive, both academically and personally. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity to make a real impact in a warm, community-focused school.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 students or within primary education.
• A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their learning journey.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
• Understanding of or experience with SEN support (preferred but not required).
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom, ensuring all students are supported.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with students needing extra academic help, including booster sessions and interventions.
• Support SEN students with individualized education plans to ensure they are fully included and able to progress.
• Help maintain an engaging and positive learning environment, both inside and outside of the classroom.
• Foster the social and emotional development of children, encouraging positive relationships and confidence.
