An exciting opportunity for a Legal Compliance Advisor to join the Legal Compliance Team. This key role in the business ensures compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations. You will join a team of four in the Legal Compliance department which sits within the Legal & Compliance division.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, the this role supports the business' obligation to comply with the Consumer Credit Act and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority. Key responsibilities are as follows:

You love attention to detail and are very comfortable working to deadlines.
You have experience of using your judgment when applying terms and conditions or compliance rules or regulations.
You enjoy working within a small team and providing ad hoc support as and when required.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the this role supports the business' obligation to comply with the Consumer Credit Act and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority. Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Drafting of default and termination notices in accordance with legislative requirements, by applying knowledge of the business' contract hire terms and conditions.
- Point of contact for compliance queries from the business.
- Respond and collate Subject Access Data Requests.
- Consider and respond to complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business' FCA compliance obligations.
- Complete ad hoc compliance tasks as requested by the Legal team.
Qualifications

- Solid experience within the legal and/or compliance field and/or experience within MO in Complaints and/or SCPT.
