About the role
As the Head of People Technology & Insight, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people technology strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with our strategic goals, ensuring our technology solutions are scalable, sustainable, and future proof. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure all initiatives are in sync with our broader organisational priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the deployment, management, and optimisation of HR systems and tools to ensure they are effective and efficient.
- Maintaining data integrity, ensuring robust security measures, and complying with relevant regulations.
- Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Managing relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Leading the portfolio of people technology change initiatives and managing project and product budget.
- Identifying and building strong relationships with business area stakeholders to align plans and shared objectives.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. About you
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of HR systems and tools, with a strong emphasis on their deployment, management, and optimisation.
Youll have experience in developing and implementing people technology strategies that align with BHF organisational goals and have extensive experience in leading people technology initiatives and managing HR systems, preferably Workday.
Highly analytical and solutions focused youll be able to evaluate current systems and processes and using data make recommendations for improvements
To be successful in the role youll have:
- excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
- a proven track record of overseeing the deployment, management, and optimisation of Workday / HR systems and tools to ensure they are effective and efficient
- strong relationship building skills, able to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- a strong understanding of data integrity, security measures, and regulatory compliance
- Workday experience would be highly beneficial

Interview process
There will be a 2 stage interview process. 1st stage interviews will take place over MS Teams on 9th December. 2nd stage interviews will be w/c 16th December and involve a presentation.
