Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily office operations, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating events, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring a clean and organised workspace.

Provide administrative support to the team, including some calendar management, preparing meeting materials, and assisting with travel arrangements.

Support with HR administration including onboarding new employees.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, acting as a liaison to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Develop, maintain, and update company databases, filing systems, and documents, ensuring data accuracy and security.

Utilise social media platforms, such as LinkedIn and Instagram, to create engaging content, monitor activity, and respond to inquiries from followers, clients, and prospects and to keep the company website up to date.

Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns, track performance metrics, and contribute to overall marketing strategies.


Your Profile

Qualification in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to leverage tools for efficiency.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interracting across all levels.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all work.

Forward-thinking mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and handle sensitive information with care.


Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of social media platforms and their use in business settings and an interest in marketing with some marketing knowledge or experience.

A proactive problem-solver with a customer service-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with the engineering consultancy industry or similar technical sectors.

Experience working in professional services environments, demonstrating an understanding of their unique operational dynamics.

Awareness of ISO 9001 standards, with practical application experience being a strong advantage.
