We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our 132 room Aparthotel opening soon, nestled in the heart of Vienna’s historic Bauernmarkt.

What you can do for us: (CVs in English please)




  • Assist with complaints where possible and resolve them in conjunction with the Front Office/Operations Manager and /or General manager

  • Manages maintenance department resources and optimises the team’s work by drawing up and coordinating schedules according to need

  • Supporting planned maintenance checks and a hands-on approach to reactive maintenance.

  • Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks as well as ensuring everything is in working order in the apartments and public areas,

  • Supervises and takes part in preventive and curative maintenance of the premises and equipment while promoting and contributing to setting up internal measures for the protection of the environment

  • Manages stocks and purchasing of equipment and supplies for the department

  • Assist the General Hotel Manager in drawing up budgets for maintenance and capital investment

  • Approve work being performed and ensures that costs are reasonable and in line with budgets

  • Ensure compliance with current safety procedures, and controlling the condition of the building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems in the residence

  • Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately



Required Skills and Experience




  • Previous knowledge of maintenance, safety, health and the environment in a similar environment or property/hotel (3+ years minimum is required)

  • Attention to detail and ability to self-organise

  • Ability to manage team members

  • Ability to communicate with all members of the team and guests
