Food Production Operative

Full time , long term Food Production Operative required immediately in Ruabon near Wrexham workingMonday to Fridayonly

Joining a fast growing family firm you will be employed within their Welsh distribution centre on a full time, temp-to-perm basis working from6.45am to 5.30pm and up to 6pm on busy production days.

Due to the location of the factoryown transport is requiredas the start time of this job starts before public transport commences in the area, unless a walkable distance.

As a Food Production Operative you will be required to carry out varies duties to ensure fresh produce is graded , packed, labelled and quality checked , working to strict deadlines within a busy, fast environment

Duties will include

• Manual handing of boxes / trays into machines
• Repetitive machine loading and operating
• Hand packing food items into boxes , reworking returned goods
• Monitoring and recording output
• Working in line with packing targets
• Completing traceability paper documents
• Manual grading , sorting of food items
• Spot checking grade / coding whilst packing
• removing stock not up to standard from machines

Excellent communication skills are needed for this role as well as food production experience with full on the job specific training provided.

Starting rate via swift Temps Ltd - £12.00 per hour (inclusive of 50p p/h attendance/ safety bonus )After 12 working weeks a permanent contract can be issued with the potential to earn up to £12.50ph with performance/ attendance bonus
