Job Description

Graduate Trainee Accountant (Belfast) The Company: HAYWARD HAWK is thrilled to collaborate with a thriving company to recruit a Graduate for a Trainee Accountant role within its finance team. This position offers the chance to join a growing, privately owned business supporting the Financial Controller with the daily running of the accounts department, The role presents excellent opportunities for personal growth and career advancement within a highly supportive and collaborative environment. There will be study support on offer so the successful candidate can work to becoming ACCA or CIMA qualified. The Role: Review invoices against purchase orders and ensure accurate coding of invoices Process supplier invoices Prepare payments for suppliers and maintain accurate records Handle and resolve all payment queries Assist in streamlining the accounts payable process Support the preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns Submit monthly CIS returns Reconcile bank accounts Assist with preparing monthly management accounts Assist with financial projects including new ERP system implementation Any other ad hoc duties as required The Person Graduate from an Accountancy/Finance related degree Strong initiative and ability to work in a fast paced, hands on role Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills Strong Excel skills For further information on this role please apply via the link below or contact Stacey Calwell in strictest confidence on Skills: Accounts Assistant Accounts Payable Accounts Administrator Finance Assistant graduate Accountancy Benefits: Work From Home
