Event Manager at QEII Centre
We are QEII Taste, by Levy UK + Ireland, the QEII Centre's award-winning caterers. We are renowned for creating and delivering exceptional guest dining experiences. Based on the core principles of quality, innovation and service, QEII Taste aims to exceed client expectation.
From graduation and awards ceremonies to international conventions, our menus are sure to enhance the event experience. From our prime location in the heart of Westminster, we have hosted over 13,000 events since it was opened by Her Majesty the Queen on the 24th June 1986.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Support the catering operation to improve the customer food service experience, delivering excellent customer care and ensuring the highest level of cleanliness throughout all work areas.

- Be aware/present of all the forthcoming events
- Ensure sufficient equipment and stocks are available for each function
- Build relationships and recognise regular clients and QEII conference centre staff
- Ensure effective set-up and clearance of conference rooms
- Ensure all staff are well briefed prior to each event
- Ensure all equipment is safe and functioning
- Pro-actively undertake personal development
- Responsible for all Front of House staff in the absence of a senior team member
- Refer non-standard issues to Head of Events
- Responsible for all decisions that affect the success of a client event or visits
