Role:Senior Consultant (Data and ESG)
Location:Bristol, England, United Kingdom, hybrid working arrangement.
Salary:£40,000 - £48,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

Our client, an innovative ESG consultancy, is seeking a Senior Consultant (Data and ESG) to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with global brands across multiple industries, helping them achieve their sustainability goals through expert data management and ESG strategies.
Job Description
- Project Leadership: Take charge of client projects, leading the development and implementation of tailored sustainability strategies. Manage client environmental data systems, ensuring effective data collection, analysis, and reporting. Oversee project execution, delegating tasks and maintaining project timelines to deliver impactful results.
- Data and Technical Expertise:Utilize advanced Excel and enterprise data management systems to gather, analyse, and interpret large datasets for sustainability reporting and strategic insights. Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide innovative solutions to meet client needs. Support the integration of technical tools to streamline data processes, making sustainability reporting seamless and efficient.
- Sustainability Consulting:Advise clients on achieving their sustainability and ESG targets across sectors such as Utilities, Travel, Finance, and Technology. Conduct research on the latest ESG trends and regulations to keep clients informed and ahead of the curve. Assist in creating decarbonisation plans, ESG reports, and sustainability strategies that align with clients' business goals.
- Team Management:Manage and mentor 1-2 junior consultants, ensuring their professional growth and ability to contribute to client projects. Collaborate within the team to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, while ensuring project excellence.
Experience Required
- Analytical data management, with a strong focus on an ESG related field.
- Managing large-scale data projects, with proficiency in Excel and enterprise data management systems.
- Practical experience in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and writing ESG impact reports.
- It would be Advantageous to have experience in sustainability frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, and other ESG-related regulations. Expertise in sustainability data analysis, with an ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, paired with outstanding communication and presentation skills. Capable of leading teams and managing client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships.
