Job Description
We are looking for an experienced full-time administrator to join our friendly team. IT is at the heart of the role and the main responsibilities are below.
Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Data entry using Microsoft Excel, Word, and a variety of in-house software packages.
• Produce reports and letters using bespoke software.
• Accurately adding new clients to our CRM system and amending client details.
• Assist with social media and marketing.
• Managing the company email inbox.
• Greeting clients and visitors on arrival.
• Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and actioning as necessary.
• Deal with answer machine messages.
• Processing client disbursements.
• Provide administrative support for the whole Company including typing letters, reports, accounts, and other documents.
• Receiving, recording, and distributing incoming mail. Ensuring outgoing mail is recorded, franked, and sent appropriately.
• Managing the register for client records.
• Taking card payments for client invoices.
• Jointly responsible for off-site archive records.
• Photocopying, scanning, and filing as required.
• Joint Fire Officer and First Aider (training will be provided).
• Other duties as requested, including covering colleague’s roles when absent.

• Must display a modern approach to operating in the IT environment.
• Multi disciplined approach to work, must be adaptable.
• Motivated with a dynamic and innovative approach to work.
• Taking pride in work and ensuring accurate work is produced at all times.
• Team work is vital as well as the ability to work independently too
• Will have social media and marketing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong and accurate data entry skills and the ability to manage databases.
• Strong IT skills and confident using a range of programmes including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and bespoke software.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and multitask.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients, both over the telephone and face to face
• 2 years + admin experience is essential.
• GCSE English and Maths grade 4 + (or equivalent). An IT qualification is desirable.
