Role & Responsibilities:As an Assembly Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our production team, responsible for:
- Mechanical Assembly: Constructing automation modules, including cabling and wiring of electro-pneumatic systems in our workshop.
- Installation & Commissioning: Installing and commissioning systems on-site, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Precision Measurements: Taking exact measurements to ensure components fit perfectly, selecting or modifying parts as needed.
- Quality Control: Aligning materials and assembling parts to create complex units, meticulously checking outputs to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Maintenance: Keeping equipment in excellent condition and maintaining detailed records of production quantities and time.
- Reporting: Identifying and reporting any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts promptly.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Proven experience as an assembly engineer with a strong technical background.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, proficiency in using hand tools and machines.
- Quality Focus: A solid understanding of quality control principles.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- Education: A time-served apprenticeship or qualification in an Engineering Discipline is essential.
- Additional Skills: Interest in automation systems, with electrical qualifications or experience being a distinct advantage.
