Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

For the successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:

• Up to £51,000 per annum
• 7:00 - 7:00, 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
• Permanent position
• Overtime available with a bonus applied per shift picked up
• Free parking on-site
• Training and development opportunities to upskill candidates

The Role - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• To diagnose faults and to test, repair, and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
  Uses PMS to support prioritisation and problem-solving (RCFA)
• To complete Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management.
• Fault finding and responding to breakdowns promptly
• To complete breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site.
  
• To take part in meetings, supervision, and training as requested.
  
• All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
• Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL
• Must be Muli-Skilled - ESSENTIAL
• Food/FMCG background - DESIRABLE
• IOSHH/Nebosh - DESIRABLE
