We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive schools in Waltham Forest, helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your understanding of psychology in a meaningful, hands-on role within a vibrant educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to students with a range of special educational needs
• Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and other TAs to create tailored learning plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
• Support social and emotional development, promoting independence and confidence

What Were Looking For:

• Psychology graduates with a keen interest in education and SEN
• Knowledge or experience in SEN and/or Makaton is advantageous
• Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
