Job Title:SEN Teacher
Location: Stansted Abbotts, Near Ware
Salary:M1 - UPS 1- £31,150 £45,646 plus £2,539 SEN allowance depending on experience
Hours:Permanent - Full Time - Term time only
Interview date: week commencing 9th December
We are currently seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a Specialist School and sports college supporting students aged 2-10 with severe learning difficulties and other complex mental and physical needs.
Therole:
The role offers the successful candidate to gain support and a personalised CPD to develop leadership skills as well as receiving mentorship from the senior leadership team. You will be supported to meet the threshold of standards and have a key input in the wider curriculum and staff development.

Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the long, medium and short term planning of the curriculum and delivery of lessons
- Management of pupil behaviour in accordance with the schemes of work
- Mazimise Teaching and Learning through effective management of human resources
- Monitoring of pupils progress through target setting and writing of individual education plans
- Assess and report on development for EHCP's
- Liaise with other professionals: Educational Psychologists, Speech andLanguage Therapists, Advisory Teachers, Medical Professionals etc.
Experience /Qualifications:
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- QTS status is highly desirable
- Experience within an SEN / SEMH setting is highly desirable
- Experience of supporting students with complex or SEN needs
