About the apprenticeship role
This role is an Apprentice Planner based in Warrington with our Planning & Scheduling team. You will study a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship qualification which will take around 18 months to complete including the end point assessment (EPA) and you will work with our specialist training provider on this. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid patten you will spend some time working in the office and some working from home.
During your apprenticeship you will learn to support the Delivery team in building a delivery programme for projects we are working on linked with the contract we are working to. You will work very closely with the client and our operational colleagues to make sure we have efficient delivery programmes.
This role will begin with us in March 2025.
What your day could look like
- Learn how to develop programmes thinking about the design, construction and commission needed and making sure they are logical and meet timescales and deadlines.
- Understand how to produce reports and extract schedules about programmes that are required by the project teams.
- Attend progress meetings with our customers and clients and learn how to deliver presentations on programme progress.
- Learn how to identify and communicate programme risks and add them to the risk register.
- Understand how to do programme integrity checks.
- Support the senior planning manager and other members of the team with other day to day tasks and requests that come in.
We are committed to giving all our apprentices a minimum of six hours per week to dedicate to your studies and time to attend training with your apprenticeship provider.
About you
You will need the following to be eligible for this apprenticeship:
- To be 16 years of age or over.
- A minimum of 5 GCSES at grade 4 or above including Maths and English or Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English.
This apprenticeship would particularly suit someone who has good digital skills and can use Microsoft office. We would also like you to be able to show you have good written skills and can talk to others well. You will need to be super organised and have a good attention to detail. We want you to be excited to develop a career, learn more and gain an apprenticeship qualification.
